How do I schedule a wish to send on the day?

You can write a wish, or make a card, days ahead and schedule it for the moment that matters, like midnight on their birthday. ViamOne delivers it for you in ViamOne or by email. For WhatsApp or SMS, it reminds you at the time with the card ready to share.

Schedule a wish or card

On Home or in Celebrations, click Write a wish on the celebration.
Edit the wish, then click Schedule. For a card, click Turn it into a card, finish it, then click Schedule the send.
Under When, pick Midnight, Morning · 8:00 or Evening · 7:00 on the day, or Pick a time.
Under How, pick In ViamOne, Email or WhatsApp or SMS.
Click Schedule for and the time.

The three ways to send

In ViamOne: for someone in your vault with their own sign-in. It lands on their Home with a notification, and it's kept for them in Celebrations. It sends itself.
Email: the card arrives in the email with your words under it. It sends itself. If ViamOne knows their email, it's filled in; otherwise type it.
WhatsApp or SMS: phones don't let apps send these for you. At the time you chose, you get a notification on your phone. Tap it to open the card ready to share, then tap Share now and press send.

Times are in your own local time. If they live somewhere the clock is different, work out the time on your side. A scheduled send goes out within about 15 minutes of the time you picked.

See, change or cancel

Open Celebrations and choose the Cards tab. You'll see:

Scheduled: what's waiting to go
Sent: what's gone out
For you: cards family members sent to you

To cancel, tap or click Cancel on a scheduled card. On the phone, confirm with Cancel send.

The card is made when you schedule it, so later changes don't reach it. To change the words or the time, cancel it and schedule it again.

Note: If a send can't go out, you get a notification saying ViamOne couldn't send it. Open it and send it yourself.

Didn't work?

In ViamOne is greyed out

That option is only for people in your vault who have their own sign-in. Use Email or WhatsApp or SMS, or invite them: How do I invite someone to my vault, and what can they do?.

It says that time has passed

Pick a later time, or send it now instead.

I didn't get the WhatsApp or SMS nudge

The nudge comes as a notification on your phone, so notifications for ViamOne need to be allowed. See Why aren't my reminders arriving?.

The email never arrived

Check the address you typed, and ask them to look in their spam or junk folder. The Sent list shows whether it went out.
